reconnect a wireless router?

I have D-Link Wireless Router A, which I used on my old computer (laptop). Now I have a "new" laptop computer (not really new, but rather a hand-me-down) and am trying to use the router with it. so follow the instructions and get the router on, but when I go to "View Available Wireless Networks" and try to connect to my router, it asks me the network key. That's the problem. I remember that the key to settings from my old computer, and wrote the key, but does not work. I called D-Link support technology to know how to put it back, but the guarantee router is over, so they want to collect about $ 1/min for your help. Anyone know how to reset your password? (User's Guide does not say how)

Hi Blaze, Mira in the back of the router. There should be a small hole, usually just to the left of the outlet DLinks. Within that hole is a small button. Find something small enough to hold down while the 713P is on. While holding down the button, see the lights on the front. With DLinks by Usually the lights of his M1 and M2 stays fixed, while holding down the reset button. Keep resetting until you blink. Its now reset. Good luck, Norm
