how to connect to wireless router on laptop
My home desktop is wirelessly connected to router. How I can connect my laptop to the desktop via wireless router

I have a wireless router through which Internet access on my personal desktop computer. I connect to my laptop from office to office dominance. I want to transfer files directly from my desktop to my laptop. Is it possible through the wireless connection from both my laptop and desktop internet access through the same router. thanks

Well, I have not said what operating systems Windows, but suppose. For Windows to work with another computer on the same network and share files there must be a "common" network settings on both computers. The easiest way to do this is to run the setup wizard network each machine. The wizard will do the following. Enable File and Print Sharing, set the workgroup name the same workgroup and settings information needed for the machines to "see" each other. You can reach the assistant control panel in Windows XP and Vista. Once that is done you should be able to share files that are on a network share "folder. The wizard will do for you. The files must be in a shared folder or not see. You can share any folder by right clicking on the folder name in Explorer and click the share "this folder" button.
