Need help with my wireless router?
i have a linksys router and ever since i got my new laptop, I am unable to connect through the wireless signal. My laptop picks up the router but when I try to connect it keeps saying acquiring network address. It works fine if I plug the ethernet straight from the router to the laptop or the router to the modem then the laptop. So i’m not sure what to do. And yes my wifi is enabled and i went to my sister’s house and my laptop connects to her wireless router just fine. I tried unplugging and everything. Do I need to do something on my other computer becuase that was the one I used when I set up my router
try completely ressetting your router and setting it up again. usually by holding the reset button down for at least 10 seconds. also make sure you are in range of your router. with any further help contact Linksys customer support.
