How to connect a linksys wireless router?

My cousin has a linksys router so I came back to help you connect your modem, but is rare. Your modem has only one ethernet cable slot. So does anyone know how to connect? Helping your modem is a Motorola modem for Comcast and the router is a linksys model: WRT54G2

Connect Ethernet cable from the modem to Linksys WAN connector route. Connect Modem = [cable] for wireless router [] to PC. * = DO NOT REMOVE POWER TO RESET DEVICES RED * – Set OFF router. – Modem Reset: With one clip, press the RESET button momentarily. – Wait 60 seconds. – Router POWER ON. – Reset router: With a clip, press the RESET button momentarily. – Wait 60 seconds. – PC Command Line: – Click Start] [- Click [Run ...] – type: cmd Click OK] [- At the prompt (c: \ .....>) type: ipconfig / release, press [ENTER] – At the prompt (c: \ …..>) type: ipconfig / renew, press [ENTER] – TEST: Open Web Browser: Connect to the Internet. – If success: Repeat steps after the PC command line in other equipment. – Failure to achieve: – At the prompt (c: \ …..>): enter ipconfig / all, press [ENTER] – Ensure DHCP enabled == YES – If the IP address 0.0.0.0 == O 169.254.0.0 to 169.254.255.255, connect modem [] cable to router [cable] for PC and perform all the steps again. –
