Connected a LinkSys wireless router to a LinkSys DSL router.How do I add security settings to wireless router?
My household currently uses a LinkSys cable/DSL router for an internet connection (through various ethernet cables). I also have a LinkSys wireless router. The other day I connected one of the ethernet cables (from the cable/DSL router) into the wireless router and was able to connect to the internet through the wireless connection (meanwhile the rest of the computers in my house continued being connected to the Internet via cable/dsl router.
The wireless connection is unsecured and I would like to secure it (WEP, WPA or WPA2). I have tried going to this website
http://192.168.1.1/
But it only allows me to change security settings for the cable/DSL router and no matter what I try to do, the wireless network remains unsecured.
Is there any way to secure this wireless network based on the current setup I have (wireless router connected to dsl router)?
