linksys wireless router cannot connect to internet

How I can get my iPod touch to connect to my broadband-n Linksys wireless router without losing the guarantee?

My iPod touch only connects to the Internet through my Linksys Wireless-N Broadband Router I take off my safety when I can configure the router, something you'd rather not do. Not connect if the configuration of WPA / WPA2 or WEP128. He says he "can not join the network" even though they enter the SSID network name and password. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The iPod touch should be able to connect using WPA or WPA2 with PSK (pre-shared key), but will have problems if you try to connect to WEP because the iPod is concerned first and then shared WEP failover OPEN WEP, but by then you will already be in the absence of authentication on the router. Sure that are close to the wireless router when trying to connect and enter the password twice. If you still have luck with WPA/WPA2-PSK, you can add a filter MAC of your router, you must add the MAC address of the iPod touch and all the teams you want to connect to the Internet. It will not stop people from sniffing the traffic and prevent hackers outside the network, but would keep the normal people of the connection.
