linksys wireless router cd setup

Are there any helplines or anybody that can help me with linksys wireless router setup?

I have a Think Pad Laptop and just bought a wireless linksys by cisco router model WRT120N, and I want to set it up. I’ve tried doing it with the CD it comes with but I haven’t figured it out. HELP please

Connect the modem to the router. Turn the modem on. When the lights stop flashing, turn the router on. When the lights stop flashing, turn the laptop on. (Make sure the wireless switch on the laptop, if there is one, is turned on.) The laptop will – at worst – give you a list of wireless signals to connect to. Choose yours. That’s it. Once you’re connected, set up MAC-address filtering and WPA2/Personal TKIP security (it’s in the manual on the CD). BTW, that’s ALL you use the CD for – the manual. Routers don’t get installed (they get connected to) so you shouldn’t be installing any Linksys software on the laptop.
