Configuring wireless router with ADSL connection?

Hi all u computer geeks, I set up a wirless router (linksys / netgear) in a DSL broadband connection in my laptop and an ethernet connection through the same router on my desktop can anyone help u in regarding this ????????

<> Install the software for the router on your "main" computer (usually a desktop). Plug the DSL in main port of the router (the port that is separate) and run a network cable from one of the other ports on the router to the desktop. Run Setup (No complicated here! Use the most basic setup … let AutoAssign and network name … it will be enough … you do not need all the passwords, special configurations and other crap for a home network unless you live next to the International hackers! :) . For wireless connections, you need a wireless card for each … newer laptops already have one (see the list of hardware), so I try to connect to the network once it have created. Good luck (by the way .. Linksys support has been good, if you can understand Hindi:).
