Freaking router only gives me 2mbps(wired and wireless) when I have a 15mbps cable modem.HELP!!?
I have a cable internet connection which works great. When I connect to the cable modem is blazing fast. When I connect the modem to the router then connect my pc to the router ITS SLOW AS HELL. What settings on the router can I change to fix this problem.
I called linksys but I dont speak Hindi and I tried their online chat but they were completely useless.
Please somebody give me good advice. I know there are some smart tech guys on this site…
It is slow both wired and wirelessly and only one computer is connected to it
I have WPA2 encryption with a 63 key shared key. I have no viruses or spyware on the pc
I GET 13-15MBPS WHEN CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE MODEM
I know about those linksys help people,
as useful as titts on a bore hog.
The only thing I can say is can you borrow, or buy another router and try that.
