If your router’s firmware is not updated, can that cause the router to not work?
I’m asking this question, because I have a linksys router wireless router. The model number is WRT54G version 6. My router, for some reason will not work. I can get on the internet just fine when using my modem. However, when I try to get on the internet with router hooked up, my internet doesnt work. I havent upgraded my firmware yet. If your router’s firmware is not updated, can that cause the router to not work?
You usually only need to upgrade firmware to solve a specific problem. The reason is more likly to do with the router set-up.
