Someone gave me a Sony VAIO notebook older I do not know anything about this please help me ?!?!?!?
It is an older laptop, but a very nice, it was deleted from the Geek Squad at best buy, there is a 2.4 GHz wireless_g Linksys notebook adapter card with it. But how can connect to Internet? What am I missing? Please can anyone give me an idea of just what I have to do to connect. I have a wireless router connected in my house, but would like to learn how to access the card Linksys wireless-G that is included with the laptop. I know the laptop works b / c that was in use just two weeks ago, before the lady who gave it to me decided to buy a new one. I have a disc with the drivers and updates to Sony pcg.9B3L, I have know idea what this means. Please can someone help me get this thing and on the Internet? Thank you very much for your time.
If you have Windows XP on laptop, you should be able to connect only on the card and go. If not, then insert the drivers / updates disk and run the setup.exe file in it.
