Broadband Router problems!?
I have a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router 2.4 GHz (model no WRT54G (UK / EU)), and I am trying to configure a wireless network connection to my wireless laptop computer, but can not connect the router to your computer and modem correctly. I'm with Tiscali broadband box and broadband connection is a small blue box with a "making a telephone connection and a USB connection socket, yet the manual instructions for the router says: Connect the ethernet cable to the modem router. But the modem does not have an ethernet port, single port telephone (Yes I know the difference) so if anyone can shed some light on it id be grateful. More information is available if more is needed. If the router Wireless has a phone jack that directly plu-making Telphone – and white box with a small adapter supplied broadband modem original. if no a phone socket, then I am afraid you have bought a router designed to connect to a local network. You should have a broadband router – or a computer running as a router – sitting between your LAN and broadband connection. send me a message if you need more help.
