linksys wireless router g 2.4
Good wireless internet router to maximize connection?

I currently have a cable modem connection, and it runs at 100mbps, however my router only puts out 32. It’s a linksys wireless-G broadband router, with 2.4 GHz, and it’s advertised as putting out 54Mbps. I’d like at least 54, or perhaps better, depending on the price of a good router. Can anyone make any recommendations? Thanks!

You would need to upgrade to an 802.11n router.

TAKE NOTE:
To get the highest speed out of any of the fast routers, you need to use matched equipment with regards to the chip-set used in both the router and adapter. The higher speeds are achieved by using compression technology, and if you have miss matched chips in the router / adapter pair, the compression tech. will not work. And you will only get the 54MB certified speed, not the faster speeds.
