When I am connected to my wireless network on my computer, how to become an access point?
I tried to find answers on Google.com, but none of my searches gave me a good answer or do not necessarily have the same problem. I have a wireless network connection (not to say that is called "Linksys"), and my computer connects to it automatically when turned on. But sometimes, after a few minutes or less, will be connected to another wireless network known as "Access Point. With this call Access Point, I can not use the Internet. I am also sure where I'm connecting to this access point at random. I tried restart my computer and my router, but do not solve the problem. My computer is connected to my wi-fi network using a Wireless Adapter. I have a laptop I use. This notebook is next to my computer, but none of these problems. I also use an Internet adapter for my Xbox 360. Thinking that may be the large number of connections and that from my laptop and Xbox that are disabled, but still I have this problem. Is there an easy solution for me and my team?
What you should do is make sure the SSID (the name of your wireless network) is at the top of their list of wireless networks. To get to this list, click Start, control panel, make sure the control panel is set to control panel view in the house on the left. Once in the house of your control panel you will see an icon "Network and Internet, click it. In the Network and Internet window you will see another icon at the top called Network and Sharing Center, click it. After having the center networks and open shares, look to the left, you'll see a list of tasks. One of the tasks will say "Manage Wireless Networks" click on it, this will bring to its list of wireless networks. This list will show you a list of networks that the computer can connect via a wireless connection. You want your SSID to be at the top of the list, if its not, click it and click the arrows to move to the top. Your computer will connect to a network based on the order that is in the list, starting from the top.
