How I can set up a home network where I can access another computer?
I have ATT DSL modem. Linksys router. I already I have two computers connected to the Internet wirelessly. but I need a facility where i access to each other. please help. thanks
NOTE: A few corrections have been made. Simply share folders and files. To do this: 1. Click on the folder (s) you want to access from another computer on the network. 2. Select properties 3. Click in the Shared "tab. 4. Check the box that says "Share this folder on the network." 5. Enter a share name for the folder in space concerned. When you want to access this folder from another computer, open the Run dialog box on the Start menu and type "\ \ Computer_or_Server_Name \ Share_name "where Computer_or_Server_Name is the name of the computer or server that contains the files you want to access from another computer and share_name is the name you specified for the folder. Very important not to forget the "\ \" otherwise you will get an error message.
