Internet connection problems?
I have a Linksys Wireless-G PCI Adapter # 2 connected to my Linksys wireless router with a partner and I can not connect wirelessly. I can refer you to connect a cable, but when i try to use Wi-Fi conncetion slows down all the places will be 2-3 minutes to load. Says my wireless network connection is connected to a speed of 54.0 Mbps and full signal strength. I am running Windows XP any help would be appreciated? You can not use a cable because the dog continues to eat them. We also have three other computers that connect to the same router without any problems. 2 and a LAN directly. I am completely computer illeterate so any help would be appreciated.
Do you have a cordless phone in the room where the computer is, if so that could be the reason. Some cordless phones operate at 2.4 GHz, which is also the same frequency to transmit wireless routers. The cordless telephone should some say in it what is transmitted to the frequency. Basically, one could only interfere with each other, if this is the problem, get a corded phone or get a 5.8 GHz cordless phone
