Linksys wireless router setup help?

OK, sorry about the long question but heres my problem. I live out of town and my internet access is wireless through an antennae on the roof of my house. That antennae attaches to a radio card in my PC. Now the tricky part. Because the internet comes directly into my PC I am using it as a router. In the past I have then run a CAT5 line from the ethernet card in the router PC to the wireless router. I would then access the internet from my laptops through the wireless router. The problem I’m running into is that nobody at linksys knows how to do this since the PC is the actual router. With everything hooked up this way the linksys setup program doesn’t recognize that the wireless router is attached. Does anyone have any ideas? I can’t figure out how to set it up. Help!! (Router is a WRT54GS incase you wanted to know.)

Thanks
Yes, I am using the PC as the hub.
I was using an old Netgear router. Not sure of the model #. It was at least 5-6 years old.

Hum…
You’ve got quite a problem! I suggest going back to where you got the router and telling them the problem. I have Linksys and the router I have is a Wireless-G Broadband router with SpeedBooster Model WRT54GS, same as yours. We has tremendous issues getting it installed, hours and hours each day, for a week or so. We had it set up to the computer, but there was always a problem with the laptop picking it up. We went to a troubleshooting guide, I think it was by linksys themselves. Trust me, i know. It’s a TON of work. But I hope what I have said will help!
