Why doesn’t 192.168.1.1 working when i type it in the url?
i have windoes media xp. Linksys dua ban wireless n gigabit router model no. wrt600n i tried to change the ports so i can host games. it worked but then my other computer suddenly could not connect to the router anymore. so i had to change everything back to the way it was and when i clicked “save settings” it showed there was an error. and it now automatically goes to “mywebsearch.com” The login window doesnt even pop up anymore. HELP!
im so sure that 192.168.1.1 is my ip or i shitbricks.
Could be a malware or spyware infection, scan for it. Run an ipconfig thru the command prompt to confirm 192.168.1.1 is the correct ip for the router, also try rebooting the router. Ping 192.168.1.1 thru the command prompt and see what happens.
