My wireless router keeps on “identifying,” what does that mean?
I just got a laptop for school and every time I leave it alone for an extended period(lets say 3 hours), the screen goes black(to preserve battery and what not, this is normal and its supposto happen). When I come back and move the mouse to get the screen back on, I almost always lose my wireless connection.
The network thing just says the signal strength is EXCELLENT but it just keeps on identifying and I won’t have any access to the internet.
I have to disconnect and reconnect for like 10 minutes until I get it back. Whats wrong, and what does identifying mean?
Both of my roomates do not have this problem. I am using a linksys wireless router.
Well your room mates have a problem and don’t know it. At no time do you want your WiFi holding a connection open!!!!! Give me such a connection and I will own your computer. Yours is doing the right thing theirs are messed up.
