linksys wireless router n router

Will a wireless G internet Laptop card connect to/ work with a wireless N linksys Router?

im gettting a laptop and it has a wireless G card in it was wondering if it ill pick up on a wireless N router

Only if the wireless router is set to mixed mode. If it is set to N only mode then the answer is no.

In the router settings there will be a drop down box to set the mode, with options such as:

b+g mixed mode
g+n mixed mode
g only mode
n only mode

etc.

So it would need to be set to mixed mode to enable the non n mode laptops to be able to connect to it.
