I have a Linksys WRT100 wireless router and can’t connect to the internet.?
It works fine when hardwired, but when I try the wireless, it shows activity, but no luck accessing the internet. There is a ‘reserved’ light on the top that is orange (has been blue before) that I think may have something to do with the problem. Sort of an uplink vs lan option, but I can’t do anything to change it. Any ideas?
well i use a D-Link but i think the process should be similar. is it working on your main comp but u can’t detect wireless on your 2nd comp or laptop? that happens sometimes if your wires are mixed up. sometimes even the cable cord your using might affect it because that’s what happened to me last year. i had to change the line to another one to plug into my main comp and it worked.
also if u use the default linksys or something. it usually doesn’t work. i think you might have to set up one yourself. best way to solve this is to call technical support on the manual.
