linksys wireless router ports not working

by admin on February 10, 2010

Can I connect a wireless router to a Wired Router?

I have a 2wire DSL modem with 4 Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi. I have already connected NAS, a network printer and a computer to the router, but now I want to go a bit further! The wireless signal is not powerful enough to cover area around the house or the frontyard where I want to put a D-link wireless network security camera. I do not use it for a high-gain antenna, so let me know if you can connect Linksys wireless router for the ADSL modem and router 2wire. I heard it's possible to disable the DHCP option, how does it work?

I would like try a wireless access point first, that might be the easiest way to go. I have one connected to a hub which is connected to the router, and do what I needed. Belkin makes one, without knowing who else does out there.
