Help installing Linksys WRT54G with Westell 6100 DSL modem?
I tried to follow all these steps, but when I go to 192.168.1.1 to enter the password "Admin" does not work. connect modem to router with ethernet cable, connect the PC to the router with ethernet cable, access router (default is 192.168.1.1) Enter your username and password. Under PPPoE Internet connection type selected. click Connect to the letter and enter the maximum idle time of 980 minutes. Select Enable for the DHCP server. save the changes. the configuration of wireless communications should not change what you had before. This configuration works HVE well for me and had more than two years. close all the feedback on the first following order Modem (let first turn you should see the ignition, DSL, then the lights of the Internet. then turn on the router. then turn on the PC. If all goes well, have been completed.
The default name Linksys user is "admin", but the password until it is established otherwise, is usually white. So, just type "admin" as the user name and press Enter.
