linksys wireless router security key code

hook up to Linksys router..?

I have Gateway laptop computer, where/how do i get it too get wireless connection to linksys router…i have router password, and security key code,…but cannot find where to enter this info to get connection?
there is no icon on bottom of computer screen…and nothing about wifi under internet connections..? just wireless connection wizard, but it doesnt have nowhere to enter what i need to?

Right click the little computer wirelss icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, then click either list available networks, or connect to a network, click on whatever you named your network and input password.
