I’m having problems with setting up my Linksys Wireless Adapter to Windows Vista.?
I’ve recently purchased a Dell Desktop that has Windows Vista on it. I’ve put the setup disk in and ran through the set up and whatnot, but I still can’t get the wireless adapter to locate the router. I bought 2 other laptops when I purchased the desktop and they had no problem locating the router and always have an active internet connection.
Can someone please provide step by step instruction on how I can get the Wireless adapter to locate the router? When I hit diagnose and repair, it states that it needs to be plugged into a LAN slot or something like that. It is so I don’t know why I’m having problems.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Make sure that the cd the card came with can be used with Vista if it can’t then it won’t install.
