linksys wireless router signal booster
10 Points!!Wireless Router Network Issue…What is best option for best quality range? 10 Pts.Best Answer!!?

I am using a Linksys WRK54G Wireless-G router 54 mbps. This router sends a signal of possibly up to 50 feet maybe a little more no more than 80, So I purchased an Airlink AP311w Repeater. This repeater is to boost the signal which it does but not enough. My room is on the second floor of a two story house. I am having issues getting a stable connection the best signal reads, “Very Low”. Any suggestions on what the problem is or how to fix it? And also what is the best router and range booster to go with? My room is approximately 150-240 ft. away from the router so if I center the range booster it would be 75-120 ft away. Which is the best router to go with and can someone give me experiences with routers. Feel free to post sources they would be more than helpful. Thanks Guys!

Use a WiFi AC Powerline adapter – it utilizes your house’s AC power infrastructure as fiber. The start kit it a little expensive to start but it works great because you can add multiple satellites.
This kit comes with one satellite.

Additional Satellites.

The bandwidth of these kits over the Powerline is still good over a few hundred feet.

Alternatively, you can use ethernet over the powerline instead of WiFi to get 200Mbps (limited to 100Mbps over cat5e).
