Linksys WRT160N Router Problems range?
I bought a Linksys WRT160N Wireless N Router for the obvious reasons to increase range and speed. I set it up but I'm not getting the proper range to expect from a wireless-N router. I have a modem with wireless-G linksys router buiilt and within just a router so your connection via ethernet. I can see both wireless access points (wireless network Wireless G and N) and both have the same signal strength on my computer – 65%. I that the mobile N was meant for me to give more coverage? Why isn't it? I went to my router page and it is broadcasting but I'm still 802.11bgn signal receiving shit .. Why? Please help me, pleasee! It is a desk, and it does have an N wireless card pci-e – D-Link DWA-556
Is your laptop / PC is also wireless "N"? Both sides have to be running the way N, otherwise no extended range. If the N router is enabled, customers will receive GG performance, including the interval.
