Is it a wireless router slower than a wired router (computer connected to the router)?
We used to have a wired router. It was a Linksys. I can not remember the model number. It looks exactly like the Linksys WRT54G wireless router, but of course without antennas. Anyway, we have a computer home plugs into the router to access Internet. My dad said he spoke with a boy and said that a wireless router can operate a computer on the Internet more slow due to interference from phones. If I change the router by cable to a wireless network from a Linksys WRT160N, can the Internet be slower for the team? The Your computer connected to the router, as well as the wired router. I only use the phone to my laptop when I'm home.
Your Internet speed will the same. The speed at which the transfer of files across your network will be slower wirelessly.
