Which Linksys wireless router?

I want a new wireless router. Deciding between the Linksys WRT310N Wireless N Gigabit Router and the Linksys WRT 160N Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router. I heard that the WRT310N fails 3 or 4 times a day. Which one do you recommned?

Neither, unless you have your heart set on N.

Wireless provides portability, and will not decrease nor increase
internet speed, 6Mb speed from your ISP will remain 6mb wired or
wireless, the only difference will be computer to computer transfer
from 100mb wired to 54mb wireless http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11

Consider this when buying a router, unless you have a service that
provides 100Mbs a G router would be plenty for most home applications
(unless you just have a large house and need more range) and if you
do want to spend large sums of cash on upgrading all the devices to
N (wireless cards) you will run at G speeds with a G wireless card
and a N router.

If you have a laptop that has an existing G card you can run a standard
G router, if it is a desktop that is already near the placement of the
router it would be costly to buy a wireless card when you could have
just put a cable from you computer to the router.
As far as Security, you can encrypt your device at 128bit encryption and
unless someone has a lot of time, it will be very difficult to access
the router. http://www.avolio.com/columns/pkiq+a.html
