will a dwl-122 d link wireless usb adapter work on linksys wireless g router? im having trouble getting them to read each other, also i have another computer,operating vista, that isnt connected in the internet, it tells me to download a driver, how can i get the driver to that computer?
If the DWL-122 D handles the wireless G (802.11G) protocol, they should talk to each other . It’s the protocol that defines how the hardware communicates, not the brands.
Regarding the driver, if the computer has an Ethernet board, you can always connect via a cable and download that way. Alternative would be to download to a portable device: Flash, CD, even floppy disk maybe.
