linksys wireless router with dsl modem
Hello. I have a Linksys wireless router. I would like to connect to my wireless DSL modem, wireless ….?

I see that in the back there a place called "Internet" but my DSL modem is in another room. I have two machines (one PC and a satellite receiver) and would like use the Linksys router to connect to the network. Therefore, I need help to connect the router and wireless modem. Can someone please help me? The linksys router is the common router with two antennas on the back. My problem is that these two teams are not wireless, so I like to use the wireless router to access my wireless modem. I understant now. Thank you very much for the help.

That point of the Internet in the back of your Linksys is basically an Ethernet port, where an Ethernet cable the DSL modem plugs. The Linksys router basically just gives the signal after it is acquired and translated from the modem. But you still need to connect the modem and router via ethernet cable for the router to get the signal.
