I need help with my USB wireless modem connection with wireless router?
i have a usb wireless broadband modem which is connected to one of my usb ports for my for my internet connection. i have recently bought a belkin wireless n router and a linksys wireless network adapter for my ps3. i am having trouble with my router because it only has an ethernet port but no usb. is there another way to connect my router to my usb modem on my pc so i can have internet connection on my ps3. and are there any wireless routers for usb modems? HELP PLEASE!
There are Ethernet modems, which would be your best solution. You can connect the PS3 to your computer’s Ethernet port and set up Internet Connection Sharing, but that’s always a last resort method. The computer has to be on to use the PS3, and the PS3 slows the computer down.
