Internet is disconnected, the repair does not work and requires forced shutdown?
Sometimes while I'm browsing the web (no download or Bittorrent), my Internet phone is disconnected. I right click and repair success, but just sits forever in the "Disabling the network adapter." Clicking on cancel does nothing, and if I start> turn of a draft. pass through the "Windows is shutting down …" screen, but still just sit there forever. So I have to do a hard reset. I've formatted several times and I have this problem in XP Home Service Pack 2, the format for XP SP3 Pro, The format for XP Home SP2, then upgrade to SP3. I have had the problem in each operating system installation. If you have something to do with my wireless card / drivers / acquaintances problems, I have a Linksys WRT54G router and a WMP54GS.
I recommend calling your cable company, and if that does not solve the problem of replacing the modem. But First, Google "WMP54GS" and "WRT54G" and find common issues. You just might find your own. And now, whenever "forced" close the message box appears ignore it. Do not click "OK" and not close it. Just ignore. Good luck.
