Linksys wireless router problems?
I have a Linksys Wireless-G Router WRT54G v4, v. 4.21.1 of the firmware, and just stopped working yesterday. I have no no idea why. I tried to reset by unplugging both the power for a time and manually with the button on the back. I also tried to restore factory settings in the router configuration page. Not let any traffic through any computer via wired or wireless. Any help?
As the respondent the first to suggest, first see if connection without router works. Doing so is probably a bad configuration and router failures. I've been struggling with a few Linksys WRT54G routers in my home and friends a few houses and always created problems like – problems with no clear reason. In most cases re-setting everything they rarely help. My impression is that the Linksys works well only with configurations very primitive (ie a laptop). However, in 100% of cases the problem was finally resolved by dumping "is replaced by Linksys and Netgear devices.
