Wireless router password reset?
I have a “Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless Base Station Model: MN-500″. We have had this for about four years. We recently moved and when we tried to set our laptops back up we couldn’t connect to it. Is there an way we can reset the password it asked for (it has gotten lost in the shuffle)? I have written the exact name as it appears on the router. I would appreciate any help to become wireless again…
1. In the Microsoft Internet Explorer address bar, type 192.168.2.1, and then press ENTER.
2. On the Base Station log on page, type the log on password. The factory default password is “admin”. Use this password if you are logging on to the Base Station Management tool for the first time.
Note If the “admin” password is rejected, restore the Base Station to the factory default settings to reset the password to the default, “admin”.
