Is there a way for someone to change your IP address?

I think someone may have changed and changed my IP address settings my router. Is this possible? Never change my wireless settings, had the default passwords. But the thing is that my router would not let me put zero, and I sat on the phone with customer service trying to fix. It is a Microsoft MN-500. HELP !!!!!

Only if they have access your router, in which case you should not leave it in the default password. Hackers know the default values for all brands of routers in the tops of their heads.
