Will a 3G router speed up my mobile connection ?

Or is it still dependant upon the usb modem plugged into it?

Your mobile broadband speed connection is ALL dependent on the SIGNAL strength in your area.
The router will not enhance the signal strength, it will only allow multiple usage to other devices.
If the signal is weak to start with then sharing that signal through the router will weaken it even more !
If its the ’3′ network your on – they claim that their ‘NEW’ MIFI device is a cure for poor signal, which again is a lie.
As your dongle or Mifi device is only as good as the signal strength coming from the nearest transmitter.
