Setting to Netgear wireless router. Clueless.?

The radio is going to connect my 40g ps3. The problem is that I am completely clueless when it comes to setting the wireless router. I connected the Ethernet cable from the PC to the main router. That's what I was going. Now I have to configure a static IP or something I can configure access to lan? Completely confused. I think PS3 can run the drill, I just do not understand hw to configure the Netgear router real. Any help would be appreciated.

Click OK. So start off with everything (except maybe the PS3). We must begin to establish the Internet connection from the modem wine from their Internet service provider (ISP) like Comcast / Verizon / SBC Yahoo / Time Warner / etc. It will be a box that your phone line is connected to (DSL) or cable line is connected to (Cable Modem). Make sure the phone or cable is connected to slot right into the modem and make sure has an Ethernet cable connected to the modem that connects the modem to the wireless router. Then turn the modem off and wait until all the flashing lights for resolve (this should take between 30 seconds and 3 minutes). After the connection has been established over the modem, connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the port WAN wireless router (the router box should be turned off yet). Then you can connect other computers and about the ports on the router with an Ethernet cable. Then plug the Wireless Router and wait another 30 sec-3min for the lights to an agreement. To activate the wireless network, you must have a computer (laptop / desktop) with ability to connect the same for wireless data network created the account wi-fi (such as network protection and password and things). Always have to restart the connection, turn on the modem and router off, then when u turn them back on to the first modem, let it rest, then do the router afterwards. Hope that helps! MJ
