netgear wireless router antenna extender

Can I use a wireless router as a bridge range / extender / repeater?

Ok, so we have a wireless network in my house it works perfectly fine except for one thing, our ps3 isn't close enough to pick up a signal. You can not move the existing router and modem so that is out of the picture. We try to upgrade to a new Netgear N router with 8 antennas (yes 8) and it was faster but did not go far enough. We have a router Belkin G + MIMO (2 antennas) and an extra comcst surfboard modem (yes we have Comcast). Is there a way to use old router as a Bridge / Range Extender / Repeater or to connect the modem and the router and make a second network?

If there is no bridge mode in the area of administration of the Belkin router, see if a firmware open source available for that router that supports that.
