Netgear Wireless Router Problems please help!?
Well am not exactly sure what I have Netgear router … but its white and look like an oval, etc. Been using it for more than a year without problems. The router is connected to a desktop running Windows Vista. my laptop is usually connected i wirelessly (XP) and I'm also running an Ethernet cable to my router box x 360.Here are my problems .. The wireless router does not appear even on my list my laptop. The Xbox Live i cannot stay connected for more than a few minutes, always says that I lost the connection while on the desktop connection random cut and re-connect. Before you say go off and connect it again, let me tell you … I have rebooted several times all the teams and everything unplugged my router and modem. i even reformatted all the Ethernet cables in different ports on the back of the router. basically the only thing we have not done is call up Time Warner cable. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
If the settings are correct, do not connect at all. A router is either defective, or more likely a problem with land-line. Contact your tel-co to parse the line.
