WEP !!!!!!? password help

OK, I have a Windows XP. We just moved to this state. Two days ago a company man Waner cable was installed and my mobile internet. I can not find the WEP key. Ihave a NETGEAR wireless router and I would not be where I can find the key WEP. in the bottom of the router is an encryption key space saying .. but there is nothing there?!? What should I do??
