How to share files and use the printer on both computers?
I have two computers (desktop with Vista Home Basic and laptop win with win xp and netgear wireless adapter), a cable modem, a Netgear wireless router and a printer connected to your computer. Yesterday, I bought the router, I set it up. Everything works perfectly. I can get internet on my laptop. But how do I join the two computers together to I can share files and allow my laptop to use the printer connected to desktop? Thanks in advance 
Some file sharing applications are quite expensive … I do not know any of the top of my head.
