Netgear Super G Wireless Router not detecting internet?
I just purchased a computer (Windows Vista) and am trying to set up a router so I can use my laptop upstairs. However, even though I am positive I have the correct cables in the correct places, it refuses to work. There is also a screen in the setup wizard where it says my computer is using a “PPPoe,” and it looks like I’m to enter some information – only, I don’t know what PPPoe is and I don’t know that information. Help?
you have modem into router and then from one port on router into your computer?!? right? have you gotten to the http://192.168.0.1 screen yet? try clicking on that link, it might ask you for a pass…it could be admin admin. try it.
