Question about Wireless G vs. Wireless N?
I can connect wirelessly to the network using a Belkin G router and USB adapter Netgear G and usually an average of 50Mbps. What is Wireless N worth it? Do you really get up to 300 Mbps? Is Internet browsing speed much faster? In my G connection now, take videos and downloads much longer to load when I'm connected to the network (100Mbps). If I had to buy a Wireless N router and USB adapter, it would I can listen faster and more smoothly?
The G, N etc etc not make a difference in internet speed. A normal G wireless network is 54 Mbps, which is much higher than a run-of-mill Internet connection. The speeds are only the speed of the internal network, 2 computers on the network G transmission / reception Data to 54 Mbps or 300 Mbps on a network N. normal speed internet connection is about 2-8 Mbps which is lower than the G or N network type .. Also a cable connection is more reliable (and therefore faster) than a wireless connection that is affected by interference from nearby electromagnetic interference. The bottom line is, the network or on NG makes no difference to the speed of Internet streaming.
