how to connect to Xbox Live?
I have a computer downstairs with a NETGEAR router for Comcast. I have a flat top of a computer in my room and a wirelss USB adapter. I have an Xbox 360 in my room and I want to achieve in vivo. I read online I need a wireless network adapter and I have today but doesn't work. I read the manual and says I have to have a wireless router but not me. Is there another way to connect without running wires through my house? My router is directly my cpmputer downstairs. no phone jack and stuff. so I think it can be a gateway. I tried to put the ethernet cable to my computer in my room but does not say to the IP address so I dont know what to do.
If your comps can pick up wireless internet, then connect the ethernet directly on your Xbox and has a wireless router to there comps. Since you have the Wi-fi now, anyway you need a wireless router. You can find them for lik $ 50. but if you're impatient, just plug the network on the xbox and have at it.
