Need Help With XBOX Live!?
Hi I am trying to hook up with Xbox live and I cant find why it’s not connecting to my network. The ip address it there and everything is up and running because I can go on my PS3 and use the internet. But I also tried to turn off the router and internet thing and it didn’t work. So I plugged all the wires off my system and it didn’t work. BTW I have a wireless connection. It is the Netgear box. If your computer can find an IP address but only fails the connection test when trying to connect to xbox live, then you can call 1800 4MY XBOX and they will be able to help you connect. Also, make sure you have the basics covered before you call; 1. With the 360 off, connect your wireless adapter to the 360, then turn on the machine. 2. Go to settings in the ‘my xbox’ feature, select ‘network settings. 3. Select ‘wireless connection’ and run a search for your bandwidth/IP address. Select your wireless connection (the one you subscribe to) and enter your WEP key. 4. Test your connection; these are the steps to establishing wireless connectivity, if you still have problems, then call Microsoft.
