"I can install my netgear router otherwise, plus a CD?
I just bought a Netgear router so I could have wireless internet access for my laptop. I know what to do completely, but my desktop does not read CDs, which means I can not install the router. Its called NETGEAR WIRELESS-N ROUTER aka WNR200. please …. I would like to download the installation of a website. my only problem is finding a site for downloading. Can you help me find this site? Thanks
I think you mean WNR2000 instead of 200 … Here is the support page: http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WNR2000.asp The full user manual: ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/WNR2000_UM_12Jun08.pdf Once the cables are connected, you can manually enter the setup of the router from your computer (without CD) to http://192.168.1.1 and configure wireless security, or anything else. This CD is what you do, just makes it look much more "magical" and simplifies the steps guiding you through everything. The manual (in my link) covers all the details of installation if it is not intuative.
