Can anyone tell me why my wireless router is so annoyingly slow?
I am on AOL Silver and have recently installed a Netgear wireless router that was sent with the AOL disc. However, the connection is soooooooo slow. It was much faster when I was on AOL Silver with a normal router.
Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Will plugging the ethernet cable back in speed it up? Not ideal but I am ready to throw this router out of the window.

I have noticed some Netgear routers having issues with the wireless network. Try going wired for a while and see if there’s much difference. If yes, try upgrading the router firmware, or get a different make.
