My router are driving me crazy! Keep losing my connection! Dlink Model: WBR-1310?
I have Comcast internet and phone modem, for some reason I can not maintain a connection. 95% of time only happends on the wireless part. I bought three routers! (Microsoft, netgear) and now Dlink WBR-1310 remains the same issue. The only thing that seems to solve the problem is unpluging the unit and plug it back in. Does anyone have any suggestions about what this be? After this is the third router I guess it has something to do with the configuration or possibly my internet? Thanks in advance oops I should add that all wireless they lose at the same time .. I'm sorry I did not add that earlier.
You might want to check your event viewer and see what is going on computer when the connection is lost – Control panel Administrative tools .. .. Event Viewer. Look at the logs and see any tcp / ip events. If you see the connection to be made fall randomly in the records could be your wireless card or the drivers. try to completely uninstall the card, uninstall the drivers and then use the drivers correct, possibly from the manufacturers website. Also try to disable all security, as WEP / WPA on your network and see if the problem occurs if you still have a problem and then for the most part, possibly, wireless card drivers. Some wireless cards when the drivers are installed to deactivate your service wireless zero and wreak havoc. What type of card you are using .. post it on here.
