Netgear Wireless Adapter – My network appears, but can not connect?

I just created a tower with a Netgear MA101 wireless adapter. I have a router Netgear MR814 wireless I am using this laptop to connect to the Internet through. So when I look at the lists in this tower network you just created has USBD MA101 adapter to it, my network appears, along with many others. However, when I double click to connect, it says: Windows can not connect to the net. The network can no longer be in range. Please update the list of available networks and try connecting again. Of course, refreshing and retry the connection does not work. Any idea? Any settings I need to? Thanks trouble. I'm on my tower XP, Vista with my laptop. Idk anything about MAC addresses, but I know that in my setup Wireless Setup, it says use the default MAC address.

When setting up your Netgear MR814, you enable Media Access Control (MAC) address filtering? If so, you must add the MAC address of your new MA101 to the access list. If that does not solve the problem, let us know if you are using XP, Vista or Win7. Annorax64
